With the eBay find of the year, Gen II Taurus SHO Slicers are an exact fit for the Transit Connect. $100 for the set.
16x6.5" 5x108mm. The only difference was a 42 offset compared to the stock 50. The 8mm difference outboard is barely noticeable . T here’s s ome paint bubbling, dings, and scuffs in certain areas. I reall y can’t complain about that.
The missus won’t laugh at my SHOtime puns...
Turned out way better than expected. Once I get new summer tires, I’ll op for sticky weights instead of the clip- ons. Probably going to get some Pirelli P4's. Best rated tires I’ve seen for under $150 per tire. As for the steelies, I’ll do some P lasti D ip and save those for the winter tires. Once the weather’s warmer, I’m going to dynamat whatever I can to quiet the interior, then hook up a speaker and amp upgrade.

I love this!! Good buy.
I ordered some of this for our Beetle a while ago and actually never ended up using it. On a very mild test run it seemed like it would make a nice difference for sound deadening.

You could totally do some cleanup on those rims and even just a coat or two of paint would really help them pop even more.

That could be very useful. I haven’t opened up the cargo padding it came with, but I’m sure it does not do much for sound deadening. That, some Dynamat (or similar brand), and some better tires will help with the noise. I find myself ye lling at the passenger on highway drives.

I’m sure I can. Maybe in the winter when I have the winter set on. Tough to daily the van when the wheels are off lol.

Or totally different product that does the same thing
- this I did use in the rear hatch of the beetle
(got it first then realized I wanted the decoupling stuff that actually deadens the sound and down the rabbit hole of sound proofing you can go). Worked great!

not bad at all...I’ll be looking for something for mine soon, thinking Focus wheels is the place to start.

That’s a common swap I’ve seen on forums. People love to put the ST wheels on their TC’s
